Joe Pradetto was elected to the Palm Desert City Council in 2024, after serving on the Palm Desert Planning Commission and the Finance Committee. He chose to run for Council because he believes safe neighborhoods and strong local businesses are the foundation of Palm Desert’s future. Joe is committed to policies that prioritize public safety, foster economic growth, and ensure fiscal responsibility for the benefit of all residents.

Joe’s connection to Palm Desert began long before he decided to run for office. He and his wife, Aubrey, chose Palm Desert as the ideal place to raise their family, drawn by its vibrant community and natural beauty. They live in South Palm Desert with their two daughters, Elena and Ayla, and their dog, Noodle. Whether hiking the local trails, visiting local businesses, or attending community events, Joe embraces all that Palm Desert has to offer.

As a businessman and community leader, Joe understands the challenges residents and small businesses face. He served as Past President of the Coachella Valley Resource Conservation District, where he earned statewide recognition for delivering balanced budgets and ending years of corruption. Joe also owns and manages rental property. In 2014, Joe was honored as one of Palm Springs Life's 40 Under 40.

Joe’s vision for Palm Desert is one of growth, safety, and opportunity—a city where residents, businesses, and families can thrive together.
